Register for the Workshops At the moment we are reviewing how we deliver the workshops, and are putting the online workshops on pause for a short while. If you would like us to deliver the training in-person for your team or department, please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected]. Alternatively, email us to be added to our mailing list and be notified as soon as new dates are available. We are really passionate about being part of the conversation to improve trauma-informed care for survivors of sexual violence and abuse as evidenced by the creation of and running this programme for the past 18 months. Over 300 frontline NHS staff have taken part so far, with 100% saying it has improved their clinical practice, which will have a hugely positive effect on the 1 in 4 patients who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. We have big plans to help more professionals and patients through this work. We're looking for NHS professionals to join our network of trauma-informed #CheckWithMeFirst champions. If you are working in a patient-facing role at any NHS trust, we would love to hear from you. Our champions will be invited to attend online workshops to learn about the challenges that survivors of sexual abuse face when accessing healthcare services, and how healthcare professionals can take simple steps to make a positive difference to survivors' experiences Following the workshops, champions will have access to a suite of online resources to help them and their team to work in a more trauma-informed way Champions will support the project by raising awareness within their teams and wider NHS trust Champions will have access to ongoing support from The Survivors Trust for the duration of the project. Click here to register for the workshops on our booking site, or use the tool below... The workshop content is spread over two short 2.5 hour sessions; Workshop A and Workshop B. Please note: As Workshop B builds and reflects on topics covered in Workshop A, delegates will need to attend a Workshop A first (ideally at least 1 week in advance).
