Safeline is a leading specialist charity providing therapeutic and practical support for survivors and their families who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse, rape and associated issues (eg mental health, self harm, suicidal tendencies) whether historic, recent or current. Safeline works in partnership with others (eg schools, health professionals) providing complimentary care support as required where referrals come from. Self referral is an option also. Support offered: Services include – face to face counselling, support groups, telephone helpline, psychological support, library, ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) who provides support to those wanting to report through the criminal justice system, client training, young people and schools work and keeping safe talks/workshops. Safeline also delivers external training to schools, health professionals e.g. on working with survivors and self harm.
